Cair Andros Cair Andros was a large river-island in the Anduin River, to the east of the land of Anórien. It was held in defence against Mordor by Gondor to prevent crossings of the Great River, though these defences were breached during the War of the Ring. The island itself was long and narrow, a little over ten miles in length. At its northern end, sharp rocks split the waters of the Anduin in a bubbling foam that gave the island its name. Cair Andros was covered with trees for much of its length. Moderator: Eran Linwëlin

Anórien Anórien is a region and fiefdom of Gondor. Anórien lay north of Minas Tirith and the line of the White Mountains, and was the only part of the northern half of the realm, Calenardhon, which was not given to the Éothéod to become the Kingdom of Rohan. No cities were in Anórien, but following the line of the Great Road that led through Rohan to Arnor were built the Warning beacons of Gondor. Moderator: Eran Linwëlin

Lossarnach Lossarnach was a region and fiefdom in southern Gondor. Known as the 'Vale of flowers', it was a fertile region lying south of the White Mountains. It was the region closest to Minas Tirith. Lossarnach was populated by many refugees from Ithilien and Osgiliath. During the War of the Ring, most women and children from Minas Tirith were sent there. Moderator: Eran Linwëlin
